Everything Is Better With Chocolate

Now. Repeat after me please.

"Chocolate Covered Peep Pops."

And again...

"Chocolate Covered Peep Pops."

One more time..faster!

"Chocolate Covered Peep Pops!!!"

Didn't life just get a whole lot funner?

I started repeating this phrase to myself, at first quietly, about three days ago after I read this tutorial over at www.kristendudish.blogspot.com. on how to construct a Chocolate Covered Peep Pop. I even made some of these crafty goodies and I don't even love marshmallows all that much. But....um....HELLOOOO!! When you dip these little suckers in chocolate? Whoa Nellie. It is a party in your mouth. That's all I'm sayin'.

Naturally in the process of making these fabulous Chocolate Covered Peep Pops I became obsessed with Peeps. I started dreaming Peeps. I punctuated every spoken sentence with,  " Chocolate Covered Peep Pops!" Pity my family. However, inspiration comes in all sorts of strange ways and I thought what better way to wish everyone a Happy Easter, or Happy Passover, or Pagan Fertility Festival than by creating an ode to Peeps.

Without further Adieu...... I give you....

p.s. Please offer my sincere apologies to your family, I was remiss about including the addictive nature of chocolate covered peep pops. ha! (But I'm very happy you like them - I agree everything tastes better covered in chocolate... and on a stick.)

  12. Ah Annabelle! It's an oldy but a goody. The first version I ever heard of this song was played on sesame street and sung by the muppets. I was three and it was 1971. I haven't stopped humming it in all these years. :0)
